Versatile metal drilling by Bosch

Practical benefits

Twelve sizes in one: You drill multiple diameters from 6 to 39 mm in sheet metal effortlessly without changing tools.
Durable heat resistant AlTiN: The tough HSS-AlTiN construction maximizes tool life and enables efficient dry drilling without extra coolant.
Secure grip without slipping: The 3-flat shank prevents slipping in the chuck, while the split-point tip allows precise starts without pre-punching.

In a nutshell

The right choise for

With the Bosch step drill bit, you drill twelve different diameters from 6 to 39 mm in thin sheet metal without changing tools. The split-point tip allows for an immediate, self-centering start without prior center punching or pre-drilling. Thanks to its heat-resistant and wear-resistant HSS-AlTiN construction, you achieve a long service life when machining stainless steel, sheet steel, non-ferrous metals, and plastics. It deburrs the hole directly during drilling for a clean finish, while the 10 mm 3-flat shank ensures a firm grip in the chuck to prevent slipping.

Product description

Step drill bit HSS-AlTiN 6-39, 10 x 93.5 mm
Smooth drilling of various diameters with one drill bit
Stepped drill bit HSS-AlTiN can drill smooth holes of various diameters with a single drill bit
Pre-punching is unnecessary as the split tip enables easy drilling

Advantages

Drilling various diameters - The HSS step drill bit can make smooth, burr-free holes of various diameters with a single drill bit.
The drill bit is ideal for deburring, drilling round holes and enlarging existing holes.
Pre-punching is unnecessary as the split tip allows easy drilling.
The CNC ground spiral groove offers optimised chip removal and reduced vibration for uniform drilling.
Axial and radial back grinding ensure excellent cutting performance and absolute smoothness.
This step drill is suitable for use on thin materials, such as non-ferrous metals, sheet plastic, sheet steel, plastic and stainless steel.
The step drill is made of HSS (High-Speed Steel) and coated with AlTiN (aluminium titanium nitride).
This ensures maximum service life and eliminates the use of coolant.
Using laser, the hole diameters in both spiral grooves are clearly visible and durably marked.
In addition, the 3-surface shank prevents slipping in the chuck and ensures high torque transfer.
